alaska vacation

It was the summer before junior year and my parents wanted to take me on vacation to Alaska. I was pumped it sounded so nice and a good learning experience and what kids can say that they have been to Alaska. We stayed in the city for 3 days and then went on a cruise. For the first 3 days was the time that I learned so much about Alaska. It is the biggest state but is one of the least populated. Also not many people live in the northern part because it gets to cold. All of the high schools there were also very small. I heard that the graduating class had 8 people. It makes me glad that I live in Florida where there are so many people and I can have many friends instead of a select few. Also the city is really small and it doesn’t even feel like a city its like a small town. There are a couple good parts about Alaska and that it the view of everything it’s so beautiful and perfect. The other good part is that everyone there is very active and fit, unlike Florida where most people don’t care about their bodies. I then went on a cruise where I saw so many beautiful things. I saw the biggest glacier in the world but because of global warming it is shrinking everyday and you can see it getting smaller because large chunks fall off every second. Another cool thing that I leaned is that the south east part of Alaska the only way to get to parts is by plane or boat because there are many small islands. The trip there was one for a life time something that I will never forget I am glad I went, I learned so much about people and life.
